An official security source in Shehraban confirmed that terrorists linked to Al-Qaeda group kidnapped a resigned police officer from AL-Abarah village and took him to the town of Shahraban.

The source added that the terrorists called the residents of Al-Mualemen district in the town to gather and watch the slaughter of Feras Khalefah Al-Joubouri amid terrorists’ jubilations.

The source added the martyr Al_Joubouri was an officer in Diyala police force, left the force 3 months ago to protect his family from terrorists’ threats.
